Treasures for Sharing: 19

Autumn has well and truly arrived and of course, Easter is now just around the corner.  I have been busy preserving the seasonal produce and expanding Helen’s Kitchen Favourites distribution network.

Taking Advantage of the Seasons

Peach season wraps up shortly, so I have completed this year’s supply of Peach & Passionfruit Conserve. As nature intends, the close of one season is quickly followed by the opening of another season.  With fig season now beginning, I have commenced producing my ever popular Fig Conserve.

You can now ask your favourite store for this year’s supply of Helen’s Kitchen Favourites preserves.

Bringing My Products Closer to You

If there is a gourmet store near you where you would like to be able to purchase my products then please drop me an email with details. Meanwhile, I’m proud to welcome the following stores to my distribution network.

  • Al Dente Deli in Sunbury Square Shopping Centre, is an Aladdin’s Cave of high quality produce.  Frank and his staff are particularly proud of the fact that they stock hard to get groceries, spices and condiments.
  • Biviano & Sons, at 98 Station St. Fairfield, is owned and operated by the Biviano family. A great shopping experience with the opportunity to buy from a vast range of fruit and vegetables, including many exotic items.  Having their own in house butcher and florist makes this a fantastic store.
  • Deliland in Northlands Shopping Centre operated by John, with his family and friendly staff, is a beautifully presented deli.  Of particular note is a high quality range of smallgoods.
  • La Manna Fresh at 403 Sydney Rd. Brunswick a large store with a vast variety of fresh, quality: fruit, vegetables, juice, herbs, nuts and legumes, and continental delights.  There is also a wide selection of well-priced flowers, and lots of friendly staff. Worth a visit.
  • Spacious and well laid out, The Coburg Deli at 401 at Sydney Rd. Coburg offers an extremely attractive environment within which to buy a wide range of goodies.  Of particular note is an in-house coffee shop.  Being almost constantly busy is a clear testament to the quality of the produce sold, and the friendliness of the staff.

Try my New ‘My Granola’ Made with Maple Syrup

A taste sensation for the Heath conscious with the benefits of maple syrup instead of honey together with oats, almonds, pepita, sesame, sunflower and linseeds finished off with natural golden raisins. A great start to the day. Try with yogurt and fruit or topping on your cereal. A fab snack too! Product demonstrations will be held at forthcoming markets.
